Recognizing Professional Capability. Setting Global Standards.

The International Skills Authority (ISA) is an independent standards body that develops competency standards, assures assessment quality and issues verifiable credentials for the global workforce.

Our mission is to promote trust, mobility and recognition of skills through rigorous standards, transparency, integrity and documented certification processes.

ISA certification is based on demonstrated capability. It recognizes evidence of knowledge, judgment and applied professional practice, whether that capability has been developed through work, formal learning, self-directed study or prior experiential learning.

The International Skills Authority (ISA)

Established to advance workforce capability and public trust in professional certification, ISA develops and governs competency frameworks, sets assessment and certification requirements, and oversees quality assurance in accordance with international best practice.

ISA credentials are intended to provide a clear and transparent statement of professional capability. They may be used by individuals, employers, education providers and other interested parties as evidence that a candidate has been assessed against defined competency standards.

ISA operates independently of training providers and commercial interests. Its recognition activities are designed to separate the learning pathway from the certification decision, ensuring that certification is based on demonstrated competence rather than attendance or course completion alone.
